We are pleased to announce as of Monday 15th February, we have launched a new look website for Dartford FC.
The website has been in production since October of last year, and we have been working closely with David Shafford, of local company DS Brochure WebDesign, who has created a new look website which will be a lot easier for fans and visitors to use going forward. David will become the club’s volunteer webmaster and will work with us for the foreseeable future to maintain the websites high standard. David is also the designer of the Dartford Living magazine.
Work behind the scenes has been carried out by Lauren Webster and Jack Smedley, who have brainstormed new ideas and spent time researching other websites to create the best site for Dartford FC, which will keep fans up to date with the latest goings on at the club. Visitors to the new website will be able to read match reports, listen to audio clips and interviews with Tony Burman and the players, vote for their Man of the Match after the games and much more.
There will also be new features including being able to book 3G pitches, golf and foot golf tee times for the Princes Park 9 hole golf course and of course find out more about the club. We are also looking at a feature to enable fans to book their away travel from next season.
You will be able to purchase your Season Tickets online later in the season as well – and this we hope will make it easier for supporters of Dartford FC at renewal time.
Commercial Manager Lauren Webster said “The new website was an essential part in moving the club forwards in the right direction. Listening to feedback from supporters of Dartford and away team supporters meant the old website wasn’t the easiest to navigate around and find information quickly, and adding in new features like the audio interviews and voting polls makes the site far more interactive. The work put in by Jack and David has been non stop to get the website up and running as soon as possible, and none of this would have happened without their support from day one.
