Dartford FC are offering voluntary job roles in our social media & Video Content departments for the 24/25 season. This will be an exciting opportunity for students or volunteers looking to gain experience in sports media.
This is an ideal opportunity for students in higher education or volunteers who have an interest in this area looking for hands on experience.
This role will involve working with our designer to create engaging content on social media leading up to and including matchdays for Dartford FC men’s first team, women’s team, youth teams as well as all departments around Princes Park Stadium.
We are also looking for an individual to record all games and create a highlights package afterwards.
Candidates will be expected to attend every home and away men’s first teams’ game so must be available on Saturdays and Tuesday nights, as well as the occasional training night to produce content via video and social media. The remainder of the time, content can be produced from home.
Responsibilities will include:
Live Twitter updates throughout the match
Publish pre-match, post match and in match visual content.
Creating engaging content through platforms including, Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok throughout the week.
Controlling the scoreboard for home matches.
Matchday commentary if interested in doing this.
Skills required:
A strong understanding of social media platforms
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic
Willing to be hands on with a positive attitude
Punctual and reliable
A basic understanding of Canva and scheduling software.
An understanding of editing software for video content.
A driving licence would be preferable. But travel can be arranged to all away games if required.
All expenses will be covered throughout the season.
