Pulse Academy (Chippenham) 2 – 2 Dartford FC “Yellows”
AET Dartford win 4-3 on penalties
Dartford FC wishes to congratulate our DFC Yellows on winning the SCL Youth Development League Challenge Cup, winning 4-3 on penalties after the game finished 2-2 AET.
A goal on the 47th minute from Abdul-Raheem Sonmonu broke the deadlock giving the Yellows the lead, before Pulse Academy equalised near straight away with a goal in the 49th minute. Dartford would once again take the lead though with a fine goal from Richard Gregory before Pulse equalised in the 80th minute to take the game to extra-time and eventually penalties.
Penalties from Levi Maxim, Richard Gregory, Clyde Ondo and Abdul-Raheem Sunmonu, with fine saves from Sam Murray would be enough to round up the victory and bring home the trophy to Dartford.
