Upcoming MatchBromley vs Dartford/October 15, 2024/Hayes Lane

Update from Tony Burman

Following on from Tuesday evening’s goal less draw away to Welling United, Tony Burman said:

I didn’t think we did enough to win the game. In all fairness I felt that we have some players who have been excellent all season but for some reason they under performed against Welling. The work rate of the team was brilliant but some of our decision making especially in the last third let us down. All season we have created a lot of chances in the matches we have played, however last night we lacked the quality that we have shown most of the season.

Defensively we were sound, and Deren pulled off some great saves which were from efforts outside of the box. We know local derbies can always be difficult, and although it feels like a loss a point is a point and we move on.

Dartford are back in action this coming Saturday at home to Bath City. Kick Off is at 3pm.
