BTSport has announced a further three selections for screening from the Vanarama National League in December and on New Years Day

Braintree Town, who have surprised many during the season under Danny Cowley’s astute leadership, will welcome Gary Mills and Wrexham to Cressing Road. This match is being moved forward from Saturday 19th and will kick off at 7.45pm. The last Saturday before Christmas is often referred to in football as Black Saturday, so this will give many fans the chance to take in a game rather than last minute Xmas shopping. As a result expect to see the Essex club make a very special offer for discounted entry to this fixture.

Grimsby Town will host near neighbours Lincoln City with a 12.30pm kick off. The Mariners against the Red Imps has often been a top class encounter and there should be no reason for this not to happen on this occasion. With the game sandwiched between their back to back festive season matches, the team selection by respective managers Paul Hurst and Chris Moyses will certainly concentrate their minds on who takes the bragging rights.
New Years Day – Friday 1st January 2016
BTSport will be at The New Lawn for the visit of Torquay United to Forest Green Rovers.
Both will have played on Boxing Day in the reverse fixture and that will surely add spice to this West Country derby. It will also be a home coming for Gulls manager Kevin Nicholson for he left Rovers to join the Devon club as a player in 2007 and is fondly remembered by the fans of his days with them. Ady Pennock meanwhile will be hoping that come the start of 2016 his charges will be still leading the pack at the top of the table.
