It was a lively start for Dartford in the 17th minute, after a Jack Jebb’s cross from a corner was cleared, but only to a lurking Noor Husin; who’s powerful strike was cleared off the line from Matt Lench.
The home side did put the ball in the back of the net after the half-hour mark, after some wonderful link-up between the midfield and the front three but, Husin was deemed offside in the build-up to the goal.
The Darts’ dominance continued towards the end of the first-half, when a Jebb free-kick came off the inside of the post and was scrambled away by the visitors.
The 41st minute broke the scoring for Dartford though, after Ade Azeez was able tap the ball in after some fantastic build-up play and a crucial final ball from Danny Leonard.
The second-half started much the same for Dartford, with Azeez’s header being saved from point-blank range by Johnathan North in the 51st minute.
Dartford doubled their lead shortly after, with Husin getting on the end of a saved effort by Dan Roberts, taking the ball around the keeper and blasting the ball into the back of the net.
The home side continued to dominate, after Roberts squared the ball to Porter, who fired the ball into the back of the net within minutes of his arrival – sealing a comfortable win for Dartford.
