Today is International Women’s Day, a day celebrating the achievements and contributions of women, while advocating for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
As part of the celebrations, George Boulton and Julie Sutherland – from the DFC Community team – organised a special event which saw more than 90 girls from eight local secondary schools attend Princes Park.
The event was supported by Dartford Police, The Kent FA, DFC Academy Teacher George Kingdon and Mia Collins of Crystal Palace U-21s. Mia’s brother currently plays for Dartford FC U-13s.
Congratulations to all who took part and made it such a great day – and a big shout out from all at Dartford Football Club to all of our female supporters, players and staff on this important day!
