Ibrahim and Pugh sign for next season.

The club are very pleased to announce that Deren Ibrahim and Andy Pugh have both signed for the 2016/2017 season.

They have both been an important part of this seasons squad and we are glad they have committed their future with us for at least another year.

Tony Burman ”  I am very happy that Andy and Deren have signed for next season.  Their involvement in the academy meant it was important we got their situations sorted as soon as possible, and we can now look ahead to the last month of the season and into the summer”

Andy Pugh ” I am delighted to be staying for another year, I have really enjoyed my time here and everyone at the club is great. I look forward to helping Dartford get back to where it belongs in the top flight of non league football whether it be this season or next”

Deren Ibrahim ” I am delighted to have signed for the 2016/2017 season. Hopefully the club can progress both on and off the pitch. Dartford is a massive club with a great infrastructure from the 1st team all the way down to the U8’s in the pre academy. When Tony said he wanted to keep me for next year i jumped at the chance. Hopefully we can have a successful end to the season with a cup win and potential play off games. Then push on next season in what ever league we are in. A massive thank you to all the fans who have been behind us this year and lets hope you can continue to get behind us in the remaining 6 league games.”

Easter Monday 28 March 2016. Dartford hold the match to a 1:1 draw, goal by Ryan Hayes.

12 March 2016. Dartford let a 2-0 lead slip at home to Whitehawk. Andy Pugh scored either side of half-time to put the home side seemingly in control. But the struggling Hawks quickly pulled a goal back and threw everything at their hosts, scoring a well-deserved equaliser towards the end before striking twice in stoppage-time.
