The Dartford FC Community Department are pleased to announce the employment of a new Community Lead to take the club forward for the new season.
Zack Hamid, who is currently a coach for the DFC Pre Academy, coaching the Girls U14s team, will join the Community Department in a permanent role engaging with the Dartford Community and surrounding areas promoting the football club to a wider audience.
Zack, who has a strong interest in football himself and has coached at the club for the past year, will be overseeing all the clubs community programmes including coaching within local primary schools and also promoting the various programmes and facilities we currently have at the club.
The Community Lead role has previously occupied by Sean Scolding, who will now move onto working with the DFC Academy and concentrating on developing the next generation of First Team players.
Phil Murray, Head of Youth Development for Dartford FC said of Zack’s appointment “We would like to thank Sean for all of his hard work and achievements. The foundations for our community work have been well and truly put in place in readiness for Zack. In Zack, we see the opportunity to expand our community work and we have some very exciting projects already in the pipeline, so be ready for some announcements soon.”
Zack added “I am very excited to be appointed as the new Community Lead, and I am looking forward to continue the great work carried out by Sean Scolding already.”
The Community Department at Dartford FC will continue to expand on their current community activities, including Football and Footgolf Birthday Parties, School Holiday Football Camps, Community Visits on a Matchday and also the launch of Bubble Football at the club.
