Player News: Lee Noble

It is with great sadness that we must report the news that, after 12 years at Dartford and following discussions with manager Steve King, Lee Noble will be leaving the club.

Lee has played 489 games for the club placing him 6th in our history, scoring 45 goals since his debut at Hendon in August 2008.

For most of those years, Lee would have been one of the first names on the teamsheet, particularly during Tony Burman’s reign as manager as well as the first player to agree terms for a new season.

Aggressive, hardworking, passionate are just 3 adjectives to describe Lee. He has also been extremely loyal and respectful to the club and become more than just a player. He has become a supporter of the club and been one of the greatest players to have played for Dartford.

In his 12 years, he has won the Isthmian League Division One (North) and Premier Division, the Promotion Final of 2012, scoring the winning goal against Welling plus 2 Kent Senior Cup medals.

Lee was granted a testimonial last year, which has been delayed due to the national crisis but this will take place just as soon as it can be arranged with a crowd in attendance. This will be a fabulous opportunity to celebrate the fantastic Dartford career of Lee Noble.

We wish Lee well wherever he chooses to play next and we look forward to seeing him back at Princes Park just as soon as is possible.
