Once again we have come away from a game feeling that we have lost. We are all very frustrated with the fact that we have conceded a goal late on in the game again, but this is what happens in football matches when you don’t finish ff your opponents with a second or third goal.
You have to give credit to Concord Rangers, and I stated before the game that they wouldn’t give up. Once again we defended well but looked unorganized when Concord managed to break away from our corners which then led to the penalty.
I was disappointed with our delivery from set pieces and corners especially in the second half. They are a vital part of the game and will always give you an opportunity to score. Once again the players worked hard but we’re in that time of the season when you need to win games.
The players will train this evening and we move on to our next match against Truro City on Saturday.
