AFC Wimbledon started the game strong hitting the post in the 14th minute from an Assal header.
Dartford FC responded though and took the lead in the 22nd minute courtesy of a fantastic George Porter goal that was curled into the top corner from the edge of the box; leaving the keeper Nik Tzanevwith no chance.
The hosts held onto their lead after a magnificent goal-line block from centre-half Connor Essam in the 27th minute.
Husin nearly doubled the Darts’ lead just before the break with a cross into the box that nearly found its way into the top corner!
It was a slow start to the second-half with both teams finding their feet. Ade Azeez picked up a knock in the 68th minute and was substituted as a result by Sam Oduadu.
AFC Wimbledon tried to level the game in the 76th minute but a strong Dartford back-line was able to make another goal-saving block.
The home side remained resilient for the rest of the match, keeping the clean sheet and winning the pre-season friendly 1-0.
