With only fourteen regular games left to play in the Isthmian Premier League, there’s still so much to play for.
Not only is Ady Pennock’s side challenging for the league title and promotion back to the National League South, but the battle for the Golden Boot is really hotting up too!
One thing that this Dartford team has, is a group of young, talented, and hungry players who are sharing the goals across the squad. Of the players used throughout the season so far, no fewer than 11 players have scored for the Darts in league fixtures!
However, there are currently three players who have reached double figures in all competitions, while three more chase them down for that treasured Golden Boot.
Olly Box currently leads the line with 12 goals to his name, 10 in the league.

Fellow attacker Callum Jones has hit a rich run of form and is chasing Olly down having scored 10 goals so far, 8 in the league.

Fellow striker Eddie Dsane is tied with Callum with 10 goals, but is just behind his teammate having netted 7 times in the league.

Midfield General Samir Carruthers is hot on the attackers’ heals with 7 goals to his name, 6 of which have been scored in league action.

Young defender George Whitefield has been superb at both ends of the field this season, and who can ever forget THAT goal he scored! His current tally sits at 6 goals scored, 5 of which have come in the league.

And one of our midfielders from the engine room, Denzelle Olopade, has chipped in with 5 goals in his first season for the Darts, 3 of which have come in the league.

Meanwhile, the chasing pack includes Academy Graduates Sam Odaudu and Jeremiah Pinder, both of whom have scored 3 league goals each, while Josh Hill has scored twice. Of course, the Skipper is in contention to win Goal of The Season too!
Let’s not forget goalkeeper Jacob Marsden either, for he has been in terrific form recently and has collected 9 clean sheets so far this season, 8 of which have come in the league. And who will ever forget THAT save he made in the dying seconds of the 3-3 draw at Hashtag United!

So, as the season reaches its business end, there’s still plenty to play for here at Dartford.
