Dartford played Thamesmead Town on Saturday 26th July, with a 0-1 win over our friends in South East London. When asked how he felt the game went, Tony said “In the last 3 games against league clubs, we have not had much of the ball. Saturday however, the tables were turned and it allowed the players to have more of the ball and keep possession throughout the game. I am pleased with the way the players performed, we created a number of chances, which is always a positive sign.
There is still no news on player signings, however Tony said “I am still trying to bring players in to add to the squad, but at this moment in time, terms with certain players are still in negotiation. Any updates on further signings will be announced as and when they are confirmed”.
“We play VCD away tomorrow, 7:45pm KO, which will be another tough game in our pre-season schedule. Thank you for your continued Support, Tony”.
