What was your thoughts on the great result at Chelmsford?
I thought it was a really good cup tie and in the first half it seemed like every time we went forward we were going to score. In fact if we had of come in 4 or 5 up it would of been no surprise. In the second half with the wind against us we knew it was going to be tough with so many long balls and long throws coming into our box. It did get a bit nervy when Chelmsford scored their second goal straight after the first, but overall i thought the players attitude and desire to see us through to the next round was excellent and i feel it can only help us in the future.
What do you make of the draw for the next round away to Slough Town?
Obviously we have been drawn away from home again against a team who our currently top of their league and had a great start to the season. It will be a tough game but i feel that the team are starting to gel together and if we show the same commitment and attitude that we did against Chelmsford, we will be difficult to beat.

I have allowed Ben Francis and Richard Seixas to both join Leatherhead FC. Ben Francis is on a months loan, and Richard is a dual registration. I have had an number of clubs interested in our younger players but Leatherhead being in the Ryman Premier will be a good challenge for Ben and Richard and with players coming back to full fitness it will give them some much needed game time. Leatherhead have 8 or 9 games in the next month and if they can play in the majority of those games we will benefit from that come the end of October. I have some players from the academy who i want to promote to be in and around the 1st team squad so they can benefit from that experience.
