”We are obviously all very disappointed with the result Saturday, and especially the score line. I felt for the first thirty minutes it was a fairly even and open game and in all fairness we had a couple of chances that were cleared off the line and maybe some half chances we should have finished. Sometimes, although you don’t want to concede goals their first goal was an opportunist but quality header, what was really disappointing was the second goal when basically the same player had too much time from the corner. From that moment on we lost our organisation which upset me the most.
We came out second half and we obviously needed to score the next goal of the game and when Elliot hit a great strike from outside the box and hit the post, again it could have been a different story if that had gone in. In hindsight I probably selected the wrong starting eleven but just felt they deserved another opportunity, but deep down I may have got it wrong. All in all we were beaten by the better side on the day and it’s another game where we must learn by our mistakes as there was too many of them during the game. Once again I would like to thank the travelling supporters for their efforts and it is very much appreciated.”
